    New to Crochet Talk

Have been a knitter for years and interested in learning crochet. Have been teaching myself from UTube but interested in learning new techniques and project. I do fundraising and am on the phone much of the day. I find it easier to crochet while on the phone instead of knitting. Also my projects are completed more quickly. Looking forward to learning more

    Hi Ferncarol,
Welcome! Have you tried the star stitch? Have you done front and back posts? Have you done the sc grit stitch or a bobble? These are just suggestions. Or maybe you'd like to try the bavarian stitch or a ripple stitch or a crocodile stitch or maybe you'd like to try the afghan stitch. There's also the chainless foundation, the invisible join and the russian join when joining yarn together.
sc is through 2 loops once
dc is through 2 loops twice
tr crochet is through 2 loops 3 times ------maybe you knew that already. what stitches have you done? I like to try new stitches too. I want to try the bavarian stitch sometime and the long dc

Welcome! Hope you have fun with your crochet, although I don't know how you can talk on the phone and crochet at the same time. WOW.

Can anyone help me find the pattern for the fan bookmark? I thought I saved it, but can't find it. Thanks!
