Hello! I am looking for a crochet stitch used in a hat that I do not recognize from a picture that I have. I believe that it is on the reversed side making it unrecognizable. I will try to attache the picture but I have been having trouble with attaching the picture.

Unfortunately I make only doilies and do not know about hat stitches

Welcome to the group. Unfortunately I have not done that many hats yet so maybe someone on here has done one with that stitch. I have only been crocheting for 2 years. I have done a couple hats but it was done in the single and double stitch.

Hello Rhonda, Welcome to the group. I looked at the picture and it might be the starfish stitch. I watched a u-tube video on how to do it. It's not hard to do.

I have been crocheting for 40+ years and I don't recognize this stitch. I will keep looking and check out the starfish stitch Thanks!
