Hi, my name is Maryanne and I'm from New Been, NC. I m originally from Rhode Island. I be been crocheting for about 40 years I started in middle school. My mother also taught me. I love it because its very calming and relaxing. I started again in January. I started with baby blankets and sweaters. I would like to learn more things. I m going in the hospital on Monday Aug 18 for knee surgery and want to do small easy projects. My daughter wants crocheted book covers. I have three children on is 31 and then I have a set of 17 year old twins who will be Seniors in September. The oldest is a girl and then the twins are girl and big. My son lives with me. Daughter lives with her father. Then my oldest has a 2 year-old son.

Welcome Maryanne Glad you joined our little corner of the crochet world. It is wonderful here. Sorry to hear you have to have surgery. You will be home before you know it and I hope you have your computer where you can get on here. We have a group that swaps granny squares that might interest you for small THINGS. Hope you are doing well. I have a daughter and a son. Son the oldest 50-he has my two grand-daughters who are 30 and 27 and no children yet. I have a daughter 48.
I like making baby sweater sets, filet baby afghans, cancer hats, mitten, hats and scarfs for winter needy. I also do plastic canvas, bead work, embroidery. I have I have gotten to like my computer a lot more since I for CT. Hope to talk again.
