Hi
Hi everyone,
I have been knitting for years now, and decided to give crocheting a try again. I am grateful to have found this site as some crochet patterns have been a bit tricky! Right now I am trying to crochet a pair of baby booties...not having the best of luck in sizing. I am using sugar and cream cotton yarn with a G hook, pattern name is Everyday Set (to crochet). I tend to crochet tightly so I was expecting them to be on the small side. My gauge matched measurement exactly so I am not sure what the problem is. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Hello Kassie,
Welcome to Crochet Talk! It is a pleasure to meet you! Hope you enjoy the group!
When you created your guage, were you more snug on your tension as well? Is this the pattern you are working on?

Hi Barbara,
Thanks for responding! My gauge piece was as snug as my bootie piece and that is the pattern I am using. Thanks for any suggestions!
