    New kid on the block

I have been viewing this site for about one year, and always seem to find something to add to my bag of information about crochet. I come from Manitoba (Canada), but wander down to Myrtle Beach during the winter months, along with my crochet hooks. The items I enjoy crocheting are mostly lapghans /afghans, hats & scarves & dishcloths, lately mostly for special charitable projects. But, I do have a request: my daughter gave me three balls of "Cristallo" fancy yarn, one white, two turquoise, 50g per ball. Does anyone know of a "vest"-type pattern that would call for just that amount of yarn? Checked the company's web site, but came up empty. Thanks.

you wouldn't have to make the sleeves http://100babysweaterpatterns.com/20...rochet-v-neck/

In the "I Taught Myself To Crochet" book is a pattern for a sleeveless v-neck sweater w/belt. The sweater goes just below your thighs and the belt is on your waist that you tie in a bow(like you would tie your shoe). It's triple crochet.

Thanks, Jean Marie! I thought I'd include a photo of my Hubby, Bill. This photo was taken on our anniversary last year, almost a year ago. He has a beard now! I need to get a better pic of us! ~~~ Hugs, Jo
