Hi my name is Rose and I am a crochetaholic!

I am glad to fine this site, and excited to meet others who share my passion. I have been crocheting for 50 years, my granny showed me how and now I can't seem to stop except for sleep (my hubby has caught me sleeping with hook and item in hand) and cooking. I am in a an area that does not have many crocheters that I know of. If there is anyone in the deep south of Mobile county Al. let me know, I would love to join or start a crafting group.

    Rose,

Hello and welcome to the group! It is a pleasure to have you as a member! I do know we have several members from Alabama, but not sure which parts! I hope you enjoy the forums as much as I have! I look forward to hearing more about your crochet projects!

Hi crochetnanny, I started crochet in 1963, i was 8 at the time, I have made countless items over the years, most were not photographed. Right now my started projects include 2 shrugs (1 black, 1 white), a beach bag for one of my granddaughters, and a doily. I always have a few projects in the works at the same time, and I work on the one that moves me.LOL. I just finished a scrap throw to get rid of the left overs from 20 Christmas projects. I still have some leftovers and the next project will be a scrap rug, it will be my first rug.
