Directions
Hi, my name is Betty. I am new to this thread and I have a question. It has been several years since I crocheted and I am having difficulty in reading the directions. It says to repeat from * and then in the middle it gives ** (2 more) and then at the end, one *. I'm lost. What am I supposed to do??

Usually a pattern will use the * to repeat the instructions. The ** usually means to stop the repeat. Here is an article which may be helpful:
