    A New-to-the-Forum, but not a Crochet newbie.

Hello, I live up north in the coldest capital in the world - Ottawa, Canada. I started to learn to crochet from my Grandmother, who stopped short after teaching me to make a chain. Needless, I got very good at making chains LOL. In my 20's I got a book and taught myself to make the different stitches. I have, after a number of years, returned to Crochet because my year-old Grandson has severe eczema and needs his sweaters, etc. made from cotton. And, of course, I am also crocheting for his 3-year old sister, so she isn't left out. I'm looking forward to when she is old enough to learn so I can share this wonderful hobby/craft with her.
