    Cool ooops!

I forgot! my name is beth. I have been crocheting since I was about 6. i'm not fast and not really good but i am branching out to more difficult stitches and patterns. I have an Arthur Ritis problem so I can't do marathon sessions. lately I have made a few lapghans for myself (always cold), one that I can't remember the name but was yarn and labor intensive (and heavy), working on an alligator stitch one now. started a shrug, so I guess I have a couple of wip. I also raise Chihuahuas (getting out of the business, too many dogs). I am married (41 years) and have 3 grown kids and 3 gkids. we live in plano just north of dallas. I am disabled so I am a stay at home person. pretty boring. except for my wall of stash! I love yarn!!

Nice to meet you Beth. I work from home and it isn't much more exciting. I also have arthritis and it prevents me from doing many things I enjoy for long periods of time. Makes me more appreciative of the time I can spend doing what I love.

Hiya Beth, It's very nice to meet you.. I lived in Texas, right next to A& M University from 1980 to 1986.. I just loved it. There is such a diversity of people there and that's right up my alley.. One of my passions is to learn about other countries and other cultures... Teresa

Hi, Beth, I am Margaret and I am in Central Texas, near San Antonio. We have lived in Texas since 74 when George retired from Boeing. His family all lived in around Austin so we settled in. Right now I am working on an afghan for a wedding gift for my grand daughter. I am not having much luck with it. I have so many different patterns and can't decide which one to do. I also have that Aurther Ritis problem and it is getting worse as the time goes by. Glad to have you join us, there are some great people with the Forum. Huggs, M
