Nice to have you here. I am Teri form rural Central NY State. I also do some knitting but have to agree with you...it goes too slowly for me. I also am able to read crochet patterns better than knitting patterns.

Hi Carol and welcome to Crochet Talk! I both knit and crochet and enjoy both crafts very much! For afghans, I prefer to crochet them, as they do get completed much faster. I usually have both a knitting project and a crochet project in the works at most times... Of course, I sometimes have several projects in the works!LOL!
