    211ssw meaning to follow!

    The 211 means 2/11 is my birthday & I had huge milestone birthday yesterday! My initials are ssw. Using 211ssw is simply easy to type so I tend to use it often.

    I'm really determined to return to crochet after many years of never having a hook or needle of any type in my hands.

    I've been away from such things due to surgeries, chronic issues such as fibromyalgia & I recently decided crochet I can do while resting so, I'm giving it a try! So far, I have limited myself to just watching videos to re-acclimate me to the stitches & I've bought some yarn, hooks, patterns but seems that actually trying it is quite a hurdle! I promise I'll do it on!
    I'm currently interested in scarves & I'll branch from there-I'm amazed by all the interesting stitches, find it very appealing so, it's all good, I just need to get going.

    Hiya 211ssw, Hiya Mamamac, Welcome to the site.. I know you will enjoy it.. It's the best.. I taught myself on a dare and that's what I did.. Although they didn't have videos back then (lol) I di use a book and go step by step..The members here are so very friendly and helpful.. Teresa

    211ssw Welcome and yes it wil lbe easy to remember for this old dog. Just go slow and reast etc. We all have pain etc some place. Scarves are nice place to start, potholders, dishcloths, lapghans too, Ive just ran across some stitches I did'nt know about.?? Videos are a great help to me also. Love to see when you get a scarf OR ?? done. HAPPY VALENTINES DAY ?? EVE.
