Just a quick note to introduce myself.
Hi everyone.
I go by oldnfluffy as that is what I am, old and undoubtedly fluffy, or mushy as my granddaughter puts it.
I am a beginner crocheter. I've been learning new stitches using youtube and other tutorial videos.
I enjoy crochet it helps me right now, I lost my husband in May, 4 days after our 25 anniversary, we had almost 30 years living together.
I am interested in learning how to make my own patterns/creations. Like a Skyrim afghan for a Christmas gift.
I understand that being a beginner that is a BIG bite. But I think I can do it if I really try.

It is wonderful that you are eager to learn how to design your own patterns! Do you have stitch pattern books, to use as a design reference?
