I like to crochet. My friend that taught me to crochet 5 yrs ago donated her things to use up a huge collection of yarn. Now, she and her daughter and I donate lapghans to a local nursing home and it dispenses them at Christmas in the patients' gift bags. I know one knit stitch so I can make hats for my church and we donate them to our Christmas Mother Program each Christmas. I love doing it and it doesn't make me feel so worthless when I want to sit down. Now I can't sit without being wrapped in yarn!!! Ginnie

Hi Ginnie...
I know the feeling. It does seem like you should be doing something with your hands when you're sitting down. If I'm not typing...which I am doing right now, I usually have a piece of crochet in my hands.
