Welcome to Crochet Talk. I have only been crocheting over a year now. Have always wanted to learn but didn't know anyone that crochet. Then one day I came across a video on YouTube learn to crochet left handed, so that is how I learn to crochet. I also do plastic canvas. I do enjoy doing both. I tried to do cross stitch but never could get into it. Everytime I look on Pinterest I find crochet projects that I want to do.

Hey all. Thank you for the info. I also do doilies, cross stitch, plastic canvas and needle point. It all depends how focused I feel at the time. I may just have to pull out some of those books now that retirement has given me more time. Have great stitching days

Hey, Ruthy, Are you left handed or just learned to do crocheting. I am left handed and take most patterns and do them like they say. Like what I am working on now, is do 8 single crochet in the circle. chain one then do 3 single crochets. It doesn't say with right or left hand. I have crocheted since I was 12. with my left hand.
