    New crocheting grandma in Portland Oregon

    Hi, I'm Sandy Turnage and I'm a 62 year old grandma who is just learning how to crochet. So far I've just made little angel ornaments (very simple) and some flowers and tiny drawstring bags - and I'm hooked! Anybody else out there in my area?

    Glad you joined us. I'm in Arkansas, so not exactly in your geographical area but I, like you am a grandmother and about to turn 61 so I am kind of in your age group area, lol!

    I'm not a beginner but I'm no expert either and I have never done the angels or the flowers so I think you're doing well!
